Call for Papers
IRWLE — The Indian Review of World Literature in English invites original, unpublished research papers for its upcoming issues.
Submission Guidelines
- Papers should be between 3,000 and 6,000 words in length
- All submissions must follow MLA (9th edition) citation style
- Papers should be original and not under consideration elsewhere
- Include an abstract of 150-200 words with 4-5 keywords
- Author name, affiliation, and email should appear on a separate cover page
Topics of Interest
We welcome papers on all aspects of literature in English, including but not limited to:
- Post-colonial literature and theory
- Comparative literature
- Translation studies
- Cultural studies and literature
- Gender studies in literature
- Diaspora literature
- Ecocriticism
- Digital humanities and literature

Please include “Paper Submission” in the subject line.
Publication Schedule
- January Issue: Submissions due by October 31
- July Issue: Submissions due by April 30
All submissions undergo double-blind peer review. Authors will be notified of the editorial decision within 8-10 weeks of submission.
