Guidelines for Referees
Thank you for agreeing to review a manuscript for IRWLE. Your expertise and careful evaluation are essential to maintaining the quality of this journal.
Review Criteria
Please evaluate the manuscript on the following criteria:
- Originality — Does the paper offer a new perspective, argument, or analysis?
- Scholarly rigor — Is the argument well-supported with evidence and sound methodology?
- Relevance — Is the paper relevant to the field of world literature in English?
- Clarity — Is the paper well-written, clearly organized, and free of errors?
- Citation — Are sources properly cited and is the bibliography adequate?
Review Process
- Reviews are conducted on a double-blind basis
- Please complete your review within 4 weeks of receiving the manuscript
- Provide constructive feedback that will help the author improve the paper
- Your recommendation should be one of the following:
- Accept — The paper is ready for publication with minimal changes
- Minor Revisions — The paper requires small corrections before acceptance
- Major Revisions — The paper needs significant reworking and should be re-reviewed
- Reject — The paper is not suitable for publication in IRWLE

All manuscripts are confidential documents. Please do not share or discuss the manuscript with anyone other than the editor. If you have a conflict of interest with the paper or its author(s), please notify the editor immediately.
